Description

Christmas on the Square: New this year we introduce a Skating Rink! Skates provided; this is going to be fun!
Join us on the Sunbury Square for the usual "Hallmark" charm you have come to love.
Enjoy food vendors on Granville, as well as hot drinks and treats all around the square.
Spend time visiting our local businesses; enter the Donut-Eating contest sponsored by Table Rock Construction; experience the Lighted Parade; see Santa & Mrs. Claus and his elf; view the unique Ice Sculpting; listen to beautiful music by Sunbury Area Voices and our Big Walnut School Choirs, and of course, join us as the City of Sunbury Lights our colorful Tree on the Square!
Event timing:

4:00 —Ice Rink Opens! Skates provided.
4:00—Ornament decorating in Town Hall (while supplies last)

4:30-5:30 —Performances on our stage! Duets, group numbers and dances by area youth and adults!

5:00—"Twas the Night Before Christmas" reading on the stage. Bring your children to sit around our storyteller!

5:30—Lighted Christmas Parade!
6:00—Santa and Mrs. Clause in The Town Hall

6:10— Sunbury Area Youth Voices community children's choir

6:30 —Sunbury Area Voices community adult choir

7:00—Tree lighting ceremony with Mayor St. John & Middle School Choir

7:20—Community sing-a-long led by High School Choir, Middle School Choir, and Sunbury Area Voices combined!

7:30—Donut-eating contest in front of Table Rock Construction
